Ruse Boutique

The design of Ruse Boutique was guided by the balance between past and present. The space was elevated while preserving its character: maple floors were sanded back to their natural tone, and decorative ceiling cornices retained. As a consignment shop, the challenge was to provide generous display without overwhelming the space. Tall, slender racks, strategically placed mirrors, and custom shelving with integrated lighting created the sense of openness and ease. Collaborations with local designers Clara Jorisch on a custom seating element and Justin Fusaro on the store's metal work grounded the project in craft and detail.
