The Double’s bar was designed as an escape from the busy streets of Montreal, a place that feels far from home even when it isn’t. The interior draws on the spirit of roadside dive bars, unpretentious and full of soul. Working within a tight budget, familiar materials were used in unexpected ways, with careful attention to color, layout, and detail.
